Coulomb's Law
Coulomb's law statement
- " Like charges ripple each other and unlike charges attract each other. "
OR
- " The electrostatic force ( attraction or repulsion type ) between two charges is directly proportional to the product of magnitude of two charges and inversely proportional to the distance between two charges. "
- Mathematically,
F ∝ q1 q2 / r^2|F |= k q1 q2 / r^2
Where, k = coulomb's constant
q1,q2 = charges
r = distance between two charges
Inversely proportional to the square of distance between the two charges
