VOLTMETER

How Voltmeter Works? How Voltmeter works? Voltmeter is a basic meter to use for measure a electric potential difference in volts. There are generally two types of voltmeter                     1. Analog voltmeter                    2. Digital Voltmeter In analog voltmeter, pointer is used across calibrated scale. Pointer is move around the scale according to potential difference. Analog voltmeter is not shows perfect calibration as compare to digital voltmeter. In digital voltmeter, analog to digital converter is used, so first it's convert analog to digital and digits are shown on display. Digital voltmeter is shows the perfect calibration as compare to analog voltmeter. When voltage to be measure, voltmeter must be connected in parallel. Voltmeter has high value of resistance, so if we connected it in series, then resistance make be high and work as a open circuit and no current can flow, so meter does not display measureme

What is Diode?

What is Diode? And How it works? What is Diode? Diode is semiconductor electronic component which allows the flow of current in one direction. Diode is widely used in any electronic circuit, such as in many power electronics device. Certain arrangement of diode is converted AC to Pulsating DC which known as rectifier. Diode is considered in passive element and it's voltage to current relation is non linear. Symbol of diode Symbol of Diode This image shows simple p-n junction diode. Diode is act as like a switch. This diode made by doping process of p type semiconductor and n type semiconductor. If anode is connected to the positive charge of supply and cathode is connected to the negative charge of supply than diode is said to be in forward bias. If cathode is connected to the negative charge of supply and anode is connected to the positive charge of supply than diode is said to be in reverse bias. Application

MarX Generator

MarX Generator | High voltage pulse generator Marx Generator - High voltage pulse generator What is MarX Generator? Marx Generator is Electrical circuit which used for generate high voltage pulse. Marx generator is same as like voltage multiplier circuit. First watch the video of marx generator.. Marx Generator produce high voltage Spark as like lightning. Now learn how to make marx generator... Circuit Diagram of marx generator circuit is shown in below image. Circuit Diagram of marx Generator Here, First capacitor are connected in parallel. When DC supply is applied, capacitors charge through resistor by voltage Vc. Spark gaps use as a switch, Here first spark gap voltage is greater than the voltage Vc. So spark gaps are behave as a open circuit during capacitor charge. Now to generate high voltage pulse, The first spark gap need to be breakdown. So, By breakdown spark gap will be short circuit an

What is Capacitor?

What is Capacitor? Definition Capacitor is electronic device which stores the electrical energy or electrical charge in electrical field.  Capacitor is the passive element. It have        two terminal. Capacitor does not allow change in voltage Capacitor used widely in many electrical circuit or in any electrical devices. Symbol Symbol of capacitor Capacitor work like as a battery. It stores energy and then it's discharge through any device. Let first consider a basic structure of capacitor. Basic Circuit Diagram of capacitor Here two conductive plates are arrange parallel and dielectric medium is placed between these two plates.  When we connect the battery and give the supply to these plates then charge in generated in their two plates.   Positive charge is generate in one plate and negative charge is to be generate in second plate.  Due to charge current flow one plate to another plate,

What is Inductor?

What is Inductor? What is Inductor? Inductor is the basic parameter of any electrical circuit. Inductor is nothing but a simple coil winding. Inductor is widely use in electrical as like resistor. All basic information is shown below. Definition   A copper wire wound into a coil on the core is called inductor. Inductor also known as chock or reactor. Symbol Symbol of Inductor Description Inductor is passive element. Inductance of inductor is depends on length of coil, number of turns in coil, area encircled by coil and also material of core. Mathematically,                                       L=  μN 2 A / l                              Where, L= inductance in henri (H)                                           N= number of turns into coil                                           A= area encircled by coil                                            l =  length of coil (m)

What is Resistor?

What is Resistor? What is Resistor? To know about electrical branch deeply first and foremost need to know about basic knowledge of electrical components which is used widely in electrical. One of the basic element of electrical circuit is Resistor.                          √ Resistor    Resistor Resistor is element which oppose the flow of current. Resistance measured in 'ohm' ( Ω ) Resistance is take away from ohm's law as a constant. (V= IR, here R is resistance) Resistance depends length of conductor's size, area of conductor and conducting material.  Formula of Resistor                 R =  ρl/a        Where, ρ  is resistivity                      l  is length of conductor                     a. is area of conductor Resistance is also depends on temperature. But ohm's law apply when temperature is constant. We can decide the value of Resistor by using colour code shown in be
